Mining explosion prove battery unit is the most important technology of explosion prove battery power vehicle. A new thin wall cylinder type flame-prove battery enclosure is introduced in this paper. The new enclosure use cylinder structure instant of the traditional square flame-prove design structure, which can increase the internal explosion shock resistant ability substantially while decline enclosure weight tremendous. Light weight design of battery enclosure is conducive to improve the performance of explosion prove vehicle mileage.
