Drainage system has a huge power consumption as one of the four major systems of coal mine production. In order to save the electric charge, this paper seek the energy-saving strategy of pump control by dynamic programming. Continuous drainage period is resolved as multiple-stage decision process, and dynamic programming mathematical equations are established, and get the optimal control rate from its solution. This strategy has obvious result from simulation and applied effect, and bring noteworthy economic effectiveness for enterprise.
