As a new method to improve ground ,electroosmosis develops rapidly .In order to have a further study on electroosmosis ,the status of electroosmosis is summarized from eectrode material , electrode configurations , current conditions,combined with physical a-dchemical methods.The electroosmosis consolidation theory and influence fac-tor including the soil types , voltage gradient , electroosmosis resistance , electrode corrosion are explaine-d, and the defects and new study trends of electroosmosis is reviewed briefly .
