Translation is a intercultural communication behavior,which makes it unavoidable to be influenced by the guidance of ethics. Andrew Chesterman proposes five modes of translation ethics-ethics of representation, ethics of service, ethics of communication, norm-based ethics and ethics of commitment, which exerts profound influence. This paper analyzes translation strategies of two versions of If I Were King to explore which modes of translation ethics they mainly conform to.
