The safety of navigation on fairway is affected mostly by the bridge among all the buildings across the channel. The construction design of bridge navigation clearance and navigable spans are related to the water-level, velocity and turbulent motion of the fairway. This paper introduces a real-time water-level and velocity monitoring system installed under the bridge, the monitoring data can be received by ships through the broadcast platform for safer navigation.
