Input Hypothesis is the essential part of Krashen's second language acquisition theory. It has the positive part as wel as the negative part. Since tense and aspect are two problems of the acquisition of English, Krashen's Input Hypothesis has great significance towards Chinese students in classroom environment during the acquisition of English progressives and English teaching.
