The manufacturing process and welding technology of PF coil support are introduced, and the taken technical measures to control the deformation stress of welding, to improve low temperature impact toughness and to control the weld ferrite content are explained. The machine accuracy and the quality were improvedthrough post weld stress relief and anti deformation measures.
