通过中国知网，从年发表论文量、研究层次、学科分布、合作机构、论文基金项目、论文发表期刊、关键词等七个方面，对陕西铁路工程职业技术学院自升格高职院校以来发表的论文进行了统计与分析。升格以来，该院科研实力稳步增强。除职业教育、高等教育学科外，在一些特色学科，譬如公路与水路运输、建筑科学与工程、铁路运输、自然地理学与测绘学、计算机软件及计算机应用、宏观经济管理与可持续发展等学科研究也较为活跃。与大部分高职院校一样，陕西铁路工程职业技术学院的科研也面临着基金资助论文比例较低、论文质量还可以进一步提高的问题。

Based on CNKI, the research papers which published by the authors of Shaanxi Railway Institute from the college upgrade to higher vocational college to the present, were counted and analyzed from the following points of views, such as amount of papers in every year, subject distribution of paper, cooperative organization of research, funds which subsidized the paper, journals which published the paper, keywords of paper etc. Since the upgrade, the research strength of Shaanxi Railway Institute enhanced steadily, the authors of Shaanxi Railway Institute were good at not only vocational education, higher education, but also water and road transport, building science and technology, railway transport, natural geography and survey, software and application of computer, the management of macro-economy and sustainable development etc. But just as most other higher vocational college, Shaanxi Railway Institute also faced the problems such as lower funds which subsidized the papers and the paper quality should be improved.
