晚明时期，河南出现了中国历史上少有的大灾荒，其波及范围之广，持续时间之长，灾害种类之多，破坏性之大是世所罕见的。这一系列灾荒是由于自然和社会双重因素共同作用的结果。晚明灾荒的多发，是其统治危机不断加深的前兆。
晚明時期，河南齣現瞭中國歷史上少有的大災荒，其波及範圍之廣，持續時間之長，災害種類之多，破壞性之大是世所罕見的。這一繫列災荒是由于自然和社會雙重因素共同作用的結果。晚明災荒的多髮，是其統治危機不斷加深的前兆。
만명시기，하남출현료중국역사상소유적대재황，기파급범위지엄，지속시간지장，재해충류지다，파배성지대시세소한견적。저일계렬재황시유우자연화사회쌍중인소공동작용적결과。만명재황적다발，시기통치위궤불단가심적전조。
In the late Ming Dynasty,famine happened in Henan Province,which was rare in the history of China due to its wide range,long duration,and many types of disasters.The famine was highly destructive and extremely rare even in the history of the world.This series of famine were the results of the joint interac-tion of two factors,i.e.the interaction of natural and social factors.The fact that famine occurred frequently was an omen for the deepening of the ruling crisis in the late Ming Dynasty.
