Imagery thinking in TCM is not only a kind of continuation of visual thinking, but also inheritance of medical concept. This paper attempts to elaborate it on four aspects, which includes the origin and interpretation of imagery thinking, its embodiment in TCM culture and performance in TCM diagnostics, and our reflection on imagery thinking. The focus is on expounding imagery thinking as a typical performance of TCM thinking mode, and on how to get it run through the teaching of TCM diagnostics.
