A triple micro-computer governor is adopted in Shuibuya Hydropower Station.The general structure, opera-tion status and technical renovations of the governor are introduced.Considering the major defects that are found in the governor in the past years, several technical renovations are carried out to improve the safety and reliability.It could be a useful reference to the renovation of governors in other hydropower stations.
