Foundation construction under water is a key step to control the entire bridge construction duration. It is suggested in this paper to first con-struct pile foundation by rotary drilling, thus the safety risk from drilling construction above water by establishing drilling platform on steel cofferdam can be avoided. It can be referenced by similar projects.
