以某产品为例说明，利用宏程序为多品种小批量（产品结构相似，加工过程相似，每批数量不大）生产建立通用程序，可显著提高生产效率。利用宏程序还可以预防和避免生产中曾经出现的撞刀问题，具体办法如下：利用条件语句，通过高度比较，规避盘铣刀撞到夹具上；通过选择合适的下刀点，实现背面圆弧的安全加工。
