腹水是一种常见的临床体征，导致腹水的病因很多，临床上较为常见的是肝硬化、恶性肿瘤以及结核性腹膜炎。大多数腹水患者通过血清学、腹水穿刺检查及影像学检查可做出诊断，但临床上有部分患者反复经上述检查后仍难以明确诊断，我们称这部分腹水为不明原因腹水。本文就腹腔镜检查在不明原因腹水诊断中的作用作一综述。

Ascites is a common clinical physical signs that has many reasons, such as liver cirrhosis, malignancy and tuberculous peritonitis. Most of the cases can get the confirmed diagnosis through serological, imageological examination and ascites analysis. But the reason of some case after completed all these examinations is still unknown, we called this part ascites as unexplained ascites. And the purpose of this article is to evaluate the role of laparoscopy in the diagnosis of unexplained ascites.
