戏剧是人类共有的艺术形式。扮演是戏剧的形式本体，以不同的形式扮演故事，形成不同类型的戏剧。戏剧的主要类型有戏曲、话剧、歌剧、舞剧，任何类型的戏剧都体现出高度的综合性，并通过独特的艺术手法为观众虚拟出一个精神世界，与观众产生共鸣。戏剧以现场表演区别于银幕和荧屏艺术。现场观、演，大大增强了戏剧的艺术感染力。任何类型的戏剧都是基于一个感人的故事，不同类型的戏剧是用不同的表现形式体现出其独特的审美价值。
