肿瘤细胞的快速增值与代谢对铁的需求远高于正常细胞,缩氨基硫脲类铁螯合剂可以通过与铁的螯合作用,剥夺肿瘤生长必需的这个营养成分,进而达到抑制肿瘤细胞增值的目的,成为新一代抗肿瘤药物。对铁与肿瘤的关系,缩氨基硫脲类的抗肿瘤作用机制及这类药物目前的研究概况作综述。
腫瘤細胞的快速增值與代謝對鐵的需求遠高于正常細胞,縮氨基硫脲類鐵螯閤劑可以通過與鐵的螯閤作用,剝奪腫瘤生長必需的這箇營養成分,進而達到抑製腫瘤細胞增值的目的,成為新一代抗腫瘤藥物。對鐵與腫瘤的關繫,縮氨基硫脲類的抗腫瘤作用機製及這類藥物目前的研究概況作綜述。

Rapid proliferation and metabolite of tumor cells have a higher requirement for iron than normal cells. Because of chelation with iron, thiosemicarbazone iron chelators can deplete iron which is a necessary nutrition for tumor growth, to inhibit the growth of tumor and become a new generation of antitumor agents. This article reviews the relation of iron and tumor, antitumor mechanisms of thiosemicarbazone and advances research on thiosemicarbazone as potent antitumor agents.
