西方传入的人种论，是影响日本近代对外认识的重要因素。明治前期日本知识界中存在的“人种进化、优胜劣汰”思想，极大地刺激了其殖民扩张欲望。在朝鲜等问题上与中国矛盾加深的同时，日本自身的人种优越意识以及海外移民受阻，进一步煽动了战争支持者们对中国的蔑视和敌意。尽管兴亚论调中的“同种联合”思想已经存在，但随着日本扩张政策的逐步实施，人种对立意识在甲午战前占据了舆论主流，成为其诠释和粉饰自身侵略行径的另一种逻辑。

Introduced from the West race theory, it is an important factor on Japanese modern foreign aware-ness.In pre-Meiji period, Japan intelligentsia existence of "ethnic evolution, survival of the fittest"ideology, greatly stimulated the desire of its colonial expansion.In North Korea and other issues with China intensify the con-flict, while Japan's own race was superior awareness and overseas migration was blocked, further incited war sup-porters of China's contempt and hostility.Although Asian advocated on "the same kind of coalition"thinking al-ready exists, but with the gradual implementation of the policy of expansion in Japan, race consciousness in the Si-no-Japanese prewar opposition occupied the mainstream of public opinion, as its interpretation and whitewash their own acts of aggression another logic.
