穆旦40年代的诗歌创作自觉追求“思维复杂化、情感线团化”的西方现代派诗歌表达方式。但其诗歌的主旨、立意和内在精神却与纯正的现代派风格有差异，表现出与浪漫主义的相通。穆旦诗歌中有明显的英雄崇拜，坚强的乐观精神以及对浪漫主义本质特征“自然”的推崇。这些浪漫主义因素成为他创作的深层精神资源，影响他诗歌风格的形成。在此基础上探讨穆旦从浪漫主义转向现代主义以及他的现代主义诗歌中包含浪漫主义特质的深层原因。

목단40년대적시가창작자각추구“사유복잡화、정감선단화”적서방현대파시가표체방식。단기시가적주지、립의화내재정신각여순정적현대파풍격유차이，표현출여랑만주의적상통。목단시가중유명현적영웅숭배，견강적악관정신이급대랑만주의본질특정“자연”적추숭。저사랑만주의인소성위타창작적심층정신자원，영향타시가풍격적형성。재차기출상탐토목단종랑만주의전향현대주의이급타적현대주의시가중포함랑만주의특질적심층원인。
Mu Dan's poems in the 1 940s pursues consciously western modernism school in writing styles:complicated thinking and intricate emotion.But there are some differences between his poems and the pure modernism poets in many areas including the purport,conception and intrinsic spirit.On the contrary,they are similar to those of roman-ticism.Mu Dan's poems possesses obvious hero worship,firm optimistic spirit and admiration for the essence of"nat-ural" romanticism.These romantic factors become the deep spiritual resources for his creation and lead to the forma-tion of his style.Based on the discussed points above,the fundamental reasons why Mu Dan turned from romanticism to modernism and why there are romanticism factors in his poems of modernism are discussed.
