"应用型"是一个使用广泛,但缺乏清晰定义,已经带来大量误解的概念. 在大众高等教育体系中的专业院校和职业院校都属于"应用型"院校,既不要把职业院校办成专业院校,也不要将专业院校办成职业院校,是"应用型"院校分类办学,多样化发展的一个关键.根据学校发展定位进一步细分"应用型"特征是应用型院校教育模式选择、课程体系设计、师资队伍建设、办学资源投放、质量评价标准确定的基础性工作.
