Sheeet metal module in SolidWorks was used to design fixture seat———the bearing body of welded steel fixture, and the sheet metal expansion drawing was got; the process of the finite stress analysis of fixture seat based on SolidWorks simulation was discussed. Finally, the fixture seat was optimally designed.
