This paper mainly discusses geological structure background, features and metallogenic regularity of ore deposit in the Andes metallogenic belt. Put forward the formation of ore deposit is controlled by the dual structure factors:First, Andean metallogenic belt is strongly affected by the plate subduction leads to strong invasion of plutonic magma;Secondly, nearly north-south thrust fault. Most of the large and ultra-large porphyry copper deposits are found in this fault zone. And put forward the distribution law of ore deposit that the porphyry copper in the Andes metallogenic belt is regionalized from south to north and zoning from east to west.
