《桥》和《莫须有先生传》都属于叙述节奏缓慢、故事时间跨度却很大的文本。两部小说在时间大幅度流转上有明显和暗含的不同，在文本结束时呈开合或封闭的不同，这种同中有异的叙事时间与禅宗“观心看净”“识心见性”的思想内涵紧密联系。废名的创作深受禅宗的“凡有所相，皆是及虚妄”“自性迷，佛即众生”等思想及“悟”的思维方式的影响。
《橋》和《莫鬚有先生傳》都屬于敘述節奏緩慢、故事時間跨度卻很大的文本。兩部小說在時間大幅度流轉上有明顯和暗含的不同，在文本結束時呈開閤或封閉的不同，這種同中有異的敘事時間與禪宗“觀心看淨”“識心見性”的思想內涵緊密聯繫。廢名的創作深受禪宗的“凡有所相，皆是及虛妄”“自性迷，彿即衆生”等思想及“悟”的思維方式的影響。
《교》화《막수유선생전》도속우서술절주완만、고사시간과도각흔대적문본。량부소설재시간대폭도류전상유명현화암함적불동，재문본결속시정개합혹봉폐적불동，저충동중유이적서사시간여선종“관심간정”“식심견성”적사상내함긴밀련계。폐명적창작심수선종적“범유소상，개시급허망”“자성미，불즉음생”등사상급“오”적사유방식적영향。
The narrative rhythm of The Bridge and Biography of Mr.Fabricated is slow, but the time span of these two texts are very large .In both of the novels the time has changed dramatically , the differences lie in that the time changes significantly in one and imperceptibly in the other .At the end of the text , the trend of the two novels is also to open and shut down in two different states .This kind of narrative time is closely re-lated to the ideas of Zen such as “thinking and cleaning”,“recognizing and seeing heart”.Fei Ming ’ s cre-ations are deeply influenced by Zen enlightenment , such as “everything is nothing”,“the Buddha blesses the multitude”, etc., and the thinking mode of “Wu”.
