民族预科教育是民族高等教育的特殊层次,也是中华民族“多元一体”格局下的特殊教育体制。在不同发展阶段,民族预科教育承担的历史任务是不断变化的。解放后,国家对民族预科教育的改进,使其更好地发挥了促进教育公平和加强民族团结的作用。民族预科教育政策作为党的民族政策的具体体现,必须毫不动摇地坚持下去。

Preparatory education for ethnic minorities is a special form in Chinese higher education ,also a unique educational system in the pattern of diversity in unity of the Chinese nation. The historical mission that it un-dertook in different stages varied. Since the foundation of PRC, our country has made great improvements to prepara-tory education for ethnic minorities, which contributed to educational equality and strengthened national unity. As the specific embodiment of the policies of Chinese communist party, the policy of preparatory education for ethnic minori-ties should be perpetuated.
