The factors resulting in the low slope of the standard curve of sulfur dioxide in air were discussed under the experimental conditions.The experimental results still met the requirements even through the slope didn't fell in the range of the standard (HJ482 -2009).Therefore,the range of the slope of the standard curve in the standard should be expanded.
