The construction of subject specialty groups under the new normal of the transformation and development of local colleges and universities must innovate the subject librarian system, improve the overall service level and service quality of the library.Facing the current situation, this paper analyzes the innovation of the subject librarian system, and probes into the countermeasures for innovating the subject librarian system under the new normal of the transformation and development of local colleges and universities, which include transforming service concept, determining the selection conditions, choosing the training objects, expanding the service content, and improving the service mode, etc.
