北京城曾是辽、金、元、明、清等王朝的国都，其在不断的发展过程中逐渐形成了特殊的“文化北京”形态。京旗人作家是这一文化形态中特殊的人文存在群体，他们在保留八旗制度下旗人身份与满人文化的同时，又认同中华民族的文化历史，在与其他族群文化历史观的磨合中形成了复线的多元文化身份认同。在他们充溢着京味白话的文学创作中，表现出清晰的文化包容性与协商性特征，以及现实生活中众多普通京旗人的生存窘境。
북경성증시료、금、원、명、청등왕조적국도，기재불단적발전과정중축점형성료특수적“문화북경”형태。경기인작가시저일문화형태중특수적인문존재군체，타문재보류팔기제도하기인신빈여만인문화적동시，우인동중화민족적문화역사，재여기타족군문화역사관적마합중형성료복선적다원문화신빈인동。재타문충일착경미백화적문학창작중，표현출청석적문화포용성여협상성특정，이급현실생활중음다보통경기인적생존군경。
Beijing used to be the capital city of Liao,Jin,Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,and it has created a unique cul-tural form during this period of constant development,which might be defined as〝Cultural Beijing〝.In this culture,there has been a special group named Manchu writers.They have maintained their Manchu ethnic identity and Manchu culture inherited form the〝Eight Banners〝 system.At the same time,they are also in identification with the culture and history of the Chinese nation,and hence developed a double running system of multicultural identification in the process of cultur-al and historcal integration with other ethnic groups.Their works,which are filled with vernacular of Beijing dialect, show clear characterastics of cultural inclusiveness and negotiability.Moreover,these works also reflect the living dilem-ma of many ordinary Manchu people in Beijing.
