淤积性皮炎是下肢静脉曲张引起的皮肤营养代谢障碍性疾病。庞鹤教授根据传统中医理论并结合自身多年临床经验，认为血虚风燥、湿浊毒蕴是该病的共同病机，其病性属本虚标实、因虚而实，表现为虚实夹杂。辨证上主张脏腑气血与局部辨证相结合；主要分为湿热毒蕴证、瘀热毒蕴证、寒闭热郁证、阴虚血燥证。治疗中重视调节脏腑功能、调和气血、扶正祛邪并重。
