The applied innovative research team based on regional development in higher vocational colleges is conducive to integrating technical services resources, improving technical services and improving social service influence. This paper analyzes the current situation of the research team in higher vocational colleges, taking applied innovative research team of Changzhou Institute of Mechatronic Technology for example, applies project management idea and method to study the construction mode of the research team, and discusses the implementation, security and effectiveness of the applied innovative research team.
