崇宁三年(1104)五月,黄庭坚贬谪宜州途经桂林,仅留下一首诗,使人产生疑惑与思考。对黄庭坚桂林行踪的考辨证实,党祸对于诗文创作的箝制才是黄庭坚在桂林文字稀少的主要原因。古代诗文作为文化留存如何转变成城市文明的组成部分得以延续,是后人应继续探讨的问题。

숭저삼년(1104)오월,황정견폄적의주도경계림,부류하일수시,사인산생의혹여사고。대황정견계림행종적고변증실,당화대우시문창작적겸제재시황정견재계림문자희소적주요원인。고대시문작위문화류존여하전변성성시문명적조성부분득이연속,시후인응계속탐토적문제。
In May, Chongning 3rd year, Huang Tingjian was relegated to Yizhou .He passed Guilin on his way and left only one poem which triggered people's doubts and thinking .According to the research on the whereabouts of Huang in Guilin , Huang left so few works in Guilin was due to the restriction on literature creation from the disaster of party contest .Thus, it's worth of thinking about the impact of the ancient poetry as a cultural relic on Guilin , and how such impact could be turned into a part of the urban civilization so as to be preserved and prolonged .
