认为营养不良性贫血属中医“血虚”“虚劳”的范畴。其发病多由于先天禀赋不足，脏腑失健，形体薄弱；后天失于调理，饮食不节、长期失血、烦劳过度、妊娠失养、病久虚损，或虫寄体内等，引起脾胃虚弱，气少血衰而成。临床辨证为脾胃虚弱、气血两虚、肝肾阴虚、脾肾阳虚四型，用自拟生血系列方加减治疗。同时应重视病因治疗，辨证辨病结合，并加强生活调摄。
인위영양불량성빈혈속중의“혈허”“허로”적범주。기발병다유우선천품부불족，장부실건，형체박약；후천실우조리，음식불절、장기실혈、번로과도、임신실양、병구허손，혹충기체내등，인기비위허약，기소혈쇠이성。림상변증위비위허약、기혈량허、간신음허、비신양허사형，용자의생혈계렬방가감치료。동시응중시병인치료，변증변병결합，병가강생활조섭。

Clinical syndrome goes to 4 types of Piweixurou, Qixue Liangxu, Ganshen Yinxu and Pishen Yangxu, could betreated with the Shengxue prescription.
