The noble metal oxide coated titanium electrodes have higher electro-catalytic activity and chemi-cal stability than traditional Pb-based anodes and graphite anodes.The categories,advantages,typical applica-tions,and defects in the applications of the coated titanium electrodes were introduced.In addition,the develop-ment of coated titanium electrodes in future was prospected.
