This paper focuses on collision avoidance and warning on the same track, and designs a collision avoidance system by coordinately using GPS, dead reckoning, and reasonably taking advantage of wireless communication technology. It can be applied to the safety management in the complex geographical environment (the tunnels, the forests, the hills). Experiment results indicate the system is applicable and effective.
