刘向《列女传》又名《列女传颂图》，本是刘向给汉成帝刘骜的另类谏书，其最初形态是一部由传文、画图和颂诗组成的特殊著作，后来经宋人改编后才成为妇女、儿童的启蒙读物。资料证明，刘向之子刘歆也参与了此书的写作，而其所做主要工作应为撰写各图的《颂》诗。《颂》诗原来并非和传文连在一起，而是附着于画面，后来也曾单独成书。《列女传颂》是现存中国历史上第一部系列题画诗，刘歆应为中国正宗题画诗之第一人。

Odes for Famous Female Stories written by Liu Xiang is originally calledfigures of famous female stories,it is Liu Xiang to the emperor Liu Ao’s offbeat remonstrance,and it is a special form of the article,drawing and odes.It became the enlightenment books for women and children after its adaptation in the Song Dynasty.Data shows that,Liu Yin,Liu Xiang’s son is also involved in writing the book,and his main work should be writing odes.Odesoriginal is originally not connected with the text,but attached to the pictures,and later became a separate book.Odes for female famous stories is the first series poems on paintings in Chinese history,Liu Yin should be the first person of authentic painting poems in China .
