Environmental monitoring is a compulsory course for environmental engineering and environmental science, the course has the characteristics of complex system, comprehensive, technical and practical. In order to enable students to master the basic theory and skills of environmental monitoring, the reform and exploration of classroom teaching mode were carried out. The practical results showed that the students’ basic theory knowledge and the ability to solve the real problem were greatly improved.
