As a literary genre, poetry uses specific structure and concise language to express fine sentiments of poets as well as to create the profound imagery. During the process of poetry translation, translators could adopt persuasive ways to gain identification of target audiences on the basis of cognitive differences between cultures. With the comprehensive consideration of imagery and meaning of poetry, they achieve the translation purpose of influencing audiences through the strategy which includes effective tran-sition of words, meaning and imagery translation.
