Critical thinking ability and creative thinking ability are important abilities for college students. The paper explores how to adopt project-task based teaching approach to train students'thinking ability. The traditional teaching approach focuses on skill training, while project-task based teaching approach sees students as the main body, focusing on students'activeness and ability training. The teaching mode aims at helping students to think actively, improving their language ability and thinking ability as well.
