This article introduces the concept, principle and characteristics of cloud computing, and refines the basic application of cloud computing. It analyzes the impact of cloud computing technology to the communication industry. Taking Hunan telecom cloud project as an example, the paper introduces the cloud technology application in the communication enterprises.
