当前,复合型人才培养需求日渐紧迫,我国大学英语教学面临严峻挑战,ESP课程将语言技能训练、专业知识面拓宽、思辨能力培养有机地融为一体,这种三位一体的大学英语教学尝试能有效解决当前本科院校大学英语所面临的问题.如何立体性地全面构建本科院校大学英语ESP课程是值得研究的课题.本文提出本科院校大学英语ESP课程的立体构建应当以需求分析为前提,以CBI教学理论为基础,以输出驱动理论为原则,以学术能力培养为重点,以思辨能力培养和语言学习并重为导向.

With an increasing demand of inter-disciplinary talents, English education in China faces severe challenge nowadays. Integrating language training, professional knowledge acquisition and critical thinking cultivation into one, ESP curriculum is an ef-fective way to solve the problem. How to construct a three-dimensional ESP curriculum in universities is expected to be under hot discussion. This paper puts forward that an effective ESP curriculum should be based on CBI theory, taking needs analysis as a pre-requisite and output driving theory as a principle, laying stress on the development of academic competence, paying equal attention to the improvement of critical thinking and language proficiency.
