高职院校是我国高等院校的重要组成部分.随着我国教育的不断发展,高职院校的学生越来越多,而高职院校创办的目的就是让众多的学生成为应用型人才,以适应社会的发展和需要.同时,伴随着我国经济的发展和全球经济一体化的影响,要让高职院校的学生在这种新形势下适应社会发展的潮流,高职院校的英语教学就十分重要.但是,就目前来说,传统的英语教学显然已经不能够满足社会发展的需要和社会应用型人才的教学,必须要寻求新的英语教学改革之路,更好地武装高职院校的学生,使之符合社会发展的需要.该篇文章主要针对高职英语教学改革进行相关的探讨,针对当前高职院校的英语现状进行分析,为将来的高职英语教学提供理论基础.

Higher vocational college is an important part of higher education in our country. With the continuous development of ed-ucation in our country,there are more and more students in higher vocational colleges, and the purpose of the establishment of high-er vocational colleges is to make a large number of students to become practical talents, in order to meet the needs of social devel-opment. At the same time, along with the development of our country's economy and the influence of global economic integration, students in higher vocational colleges should adapt to the trend of social development in the new situation. However, at present, the traditional English teaching is obviously not able to meet the needs of social development and social application talent, we must find a new way to reform the English teaching, and better arm higher vocational college students, so as to meet the needs of social development.
