为了抑制下变频光载无线(Radio-Over-Fiber, ROF)链路中的三阶交调失真,提出一种基于偏振调制器(Polarization Modulator, PolM)-Sagnac环结构的线性下变频光载无线链路.理论阐述了这种结构的调制方式和工作原理,对基于该结构的下变频光载无线链路性能进行了仿真分析.结果表明,通过最优化三个偏振控制器(Polarization Controller, PC)的参数以及偏振器(Polarizer)与PBS主轴的角度,这种技术可以达到最佳链路增益,同时系统的无杂散寄生动态范围(Spurious Free Dynamic Range, SFDR)达到127.4 dB?Hz2/3.

In order to suppress the third-order intermodulation distortion of the down converting Radio-over-fiber (ROF) link, linearized down converting ROF link based on a Polarization Modulator (PolM) in a Sagnac loop is proposed. First, the modulation method and the principle of this technique are described theoretically. And then, simulation analysis about ROF link based on the technology is carried out. The analysis results show that the technology can get optimized link gain, and spurious free dynamic range reach 127.4 dB?Hz2/3 by optimizing the parameters of the three Polarization Controllers (PCs) and the polarization angle between the polarizer and the spindle of PBS.
