With the development of economy and culture, people's living level gradually improves, people's concepts towards health have grad-ually changed.Nowadays the fact is that the quantity of empty-nesters increases sharply.After getting to know the present situation of lives of the elderly and the influence of the common diseases on the elderly , in view of the analysis of how continuing nursing reacts on the empty -nesters's quality of lives and the factors that influence their life quality , we look forward to putting forward countermeasures and forseeing the effects towards continuing nursing for the community elderly, such as improving the community care and care insurance which are all ways to improve the life quali-ty of the elderly.
