新常态下，矿业经济发展进入低谷，国内矿产勘查市场遇冷，地勘行业经历了近十年的黄金发展期，正由火爆逐渐降温。但是，矿业进入低谷并不意味着地勘行业也进入了低谷，相反我国经济进入新常态给地勘行业带来了新的发展机遇。因此，地质单位必须主动适应经济发展新常态提出的新任务、新要求，深化体制改革；坚持主业不放松，不断开拓地质工作新领域；加快科技创新，实现转型发展。

Under the new normal, mining industry is in tough development stage, domestic mineral exploration market and geological exploration industry is getting freeze after a decade of golden period of development. However, the mining industry is slowing doesn’t mean that geological exploration industry has entered a slump. Nowadays, China's economy has entered a new norm and it has brought new opportunities for development of geological exploration industry. Thus, the geological units must take the initiative to adapt to the new tasks and requirement of economic development under the new normal, to deepen the reform, to adhere to the main industry strictly, and constantly to open up new areas of geological work, accelerate scientiifc and technological innovation to achieve the transformation development.
