强夯法即强力夯实法,又叫动力固结法,由20世纪60年代法国Menard技术公司首先创用.这种方法是利用大型履带式起重机将8~40吨的重锤从6~40米高度自由落下,对土进行强力夯实,从而提高地基土的强度并降低其压缩性.最初仅用于加固砂土和碎石土地基,但经过几十年的应用与发展,它已适用于加固从砾石到黏性土的各类地基土.本文以青岛市大沽河堤防工程(胶州市)为例,就在堤防治理工程中,强夯应用于堤防治理的施工技术.
