该文通过对临床医学人文素质教育调查结果剖析，客观分析目前临床医学人文素质教育的必要性和紧迫性；以及人文素质教育的现状、弊端。根据国内外先进医学人文素质教育模式，提出实施医学人文素质教育的有效途径；主要包括：转变医学人文素质教育观念，加强人文素质教育课程建设，增强教师人文素质理念，丰富人文素质教育教学方式和方法，人文素质教育需要用"心"，建立人文素质教育的监督与评估体系，以及充分利用校园文化环境等途径。通过人文素质教育途径的有效实施，使学生临床医学知识结构得到完善，人文素质得到逐步的提高和升华。
