随着人民生活水平的改善、营养条件的提高，高蛋白、高嘌呤食物摄入增加及一些药物的广泛使用，高尿酸血症（HUA）的发病率也在逐渐升高。高尿酸血症与生活相关性疾病（包括冠心病、高血压、糖尿病、高脂血症和肥胖）的发展相关。血清尿酸浓度升高一般认为不是真正的病因或中介，但可作为评估这些疾病的指标。高尿酸血症在这些疾病中充当诱发因子。

With people's living standards and the nutritional conditions improving, high-protein, high-purine food in taking and some drugs widespread using, hyperuricemia ( HUA ) incidence increased. Many studies have shown that hyperuricemia associated with the development of life-related diseases ( including coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and obesity ). However, the serum uric acid concentration is generally not considered the real cause or intermediary, but may serve as indicators of these diseases. The new data also shows that hyperuricemia act as a factor in these diseases induced. The relationship between hyperuricemia and life-related diseases were reviewed as follows.
