本文通过分析现行医院患者权益维护的现状，指出了医院现行患者权益维护实施过程中存在的问题，并剖析了现行机制下患者权益维护面临的难题和困境和对医院长期发展的影响，对采用信息化手段实行患者权益维护涉及到的每个管理环节的职能和任务做了明确，提出了打造医院患者权益维护的设计思路，对提高医院管理水平，提升两个效益具有实际意义。
