根据中国古典私园的布局思想，从依山选址的角度探讨了地形特征与山地住宅底界面的关系，主要对与大地结合的山地住宅底界面进行了阐述，指出底界面是自然地形地貌与山地住宅人工空间的结合区域，也是构成山地住宅空间界面和限定具体的空间形态的一个重要环节，不同的底界面体现不同的空间使用特征，它不仅仅是二维的平面形态，更是多维度的立体概念。

According to the layout concept of classical Chinese private garden,starting from the aspect of mountain-orientated location selection, the paper explores the relationship of topographical features and bottom boundary of mountainous residential building,describes the bottom bound-ary of mountainous residential building combined with ground,and points out that:the bottom boundary is the artificial integrated region of natu-ral morphology and mountainous residential building,and is an important point for building mountainous residential building space boundary and limiting specific spatial morphology as well;furthermore,different bottom boundary embodies different spatial utilization features,which is not on-ly two-dimensional surface morphology but also multi-dimensional vertical concept.
