As an important part of professional causes for English majors, translation courses have always attracted much attention and research about the relative teaching methods. This article has analyzed the major problems of current teaching of translation courses: including giving priority to words study instead of culture learning, to practice part instead of theory part, to carrying out the meaning instead of the language style and hidden spirit. These problems will shed ill effect on students’ learning of translation skills, thus realization of these problems will be helpful for improving course teaching and achieving better learning results.
