西方经济学是一门系统性和时效性以及应用性都较强的学科，也是高校经管专业的基础必修课。然而，当前关于西方经济学的教学存在教学方式单一、教学目标滞后、教学方法传统及考核方式单一等突出问题。本文在分析该课程学科特点的基础上，全面分析了其教学现状。在此基础上，就进一步提升西方经济学的教学改革提出了几点对策与措施，旨在为新形势下西方经济学的教学改革提供可能的理论借鉴。

Western Economics is a highly systematical, advanced and applied discipline, as well as a foundation compulsory course for economic management majors in universities. However, there are some prominent problems in the current Western Economics teaching, such as single teaching styles, backward teaching ob-jectives, outdated teaching methods and fixed evaluation meth-ods. Based on analyzing the characteristics of the course, this pa-per comprehensively analyzes the current situation of Western E-conomics teaching, and then puts forward several countermea-sures to further improve the teaching reform of Western Eco-nomics, aiming to provide possible theoretical references for the teaching reform of Western Economics in the new situation.
