默顿学派科学规范理论是以20世纪及其之前的西方部分发达国家科学社会为研究对象构建的，与当代中国实际存在相当大的隔阂，因此其在当代中国的应用需要中国化重建。当代中国科学价值目标应该包括目的性层次价值目标———促进中国特色社会主义建设、工具性层次价值目标———扩展被证实了的知识；当代中国科学基本规范应该是条件性普遍主义规范、正当性利益主义规范、自主性公有主义规范、全面性诚信主义规范和组织化怀疑主义规范。

Merton School of scientific theory is constructed with some western developed countries'scientific society in and before the twentieth century as its research object,and there is considerable estrangement between it and the actual exist-ence of contemporary China,so its application in contemporary China needs reconstruction with its localization in China. Contemporary China's scientific value goals should include the objective -level value goal “to promote the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the instrumental -level value goal ”the extension of certified knowledge.The basic scientific norms of contemporary China should be conditional universalism,legitimate interest doctrine,independent communism,comprehensive credibility and integrity doctrine,and organized skepticism.
